Hijacking Catastrophe

A new documentary “Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear & The Selling of American Empire” was released last week. The documentary examines how the Bush administration used the attacks of 9/11 to advance a pre-existing neoconservative adgenda. “The documentary places the Bush Administration’s false justifications for war in Iraq within the larger context of a two-decade struggle by neoconservatives to dramatically increase military spending in the wake of the Cold War, and to expand American power globally by means of military force.”

Below are several clips from the documentary as well as a piece from DemocracyNOW containing an interview with the film maker and a larger clip from the film. The film is available on VHS or DVD for $20 a copy, buy it then hold a house party or dorm party.
