Debate 3

Guess who’s back,

Back again,

Blinky’s back,

Tell a friend,

Guess who’s back,

Guess who’s back,

Guess who’s back…

But seriously folks, there were several points I think are worth looking at. First, I liked Kerry’s comment, “being lectured by this president on fiscal responsibility is a little bit like Tony Soprano telling me about law and order.” It seemed to hammer home the fact that while Bush continues to try and paint Kerry as a “Massachusettes liberal” it is Bush who has spent this country into a massive hole.

It seemed to me like the president kept answering every question with education. When asked, “what do you say to someone who has lost his job to someone overseas” he said he would help them to get an eduction and go on to community college. WHAAA? Tell that to the mountains of white collar, college educated people whose jobs are being done in Bombay. I don’t think community college is going to help an unemployed engineer, programmer, etc.

Will you overturn Roe v. Wade: Kerry, NO; Bush, litmus tests…whatever.

Kerry voted against the homeland security bill, um, not.

Lastly, thank you to Atrios for this, “I never said I am not worried about Osama Bin Laden.” Oh really?
