Reid to McCain: Wish You Were Here

In what may be my favorite early morning headline of the day, it would seem that Senate Majority Leader Reid is getting a little miffed with McCain. The reason? Well, for all of John McCain’s bluster about the Iraq war, he isn’t actually voting on any of it.

Senator McCain has missed all but four of the past fourteen votes on the Iraq war, despite vehement words throughout his campaign regarding how much for the Iraq war he is. Which I think this is kinda funny. As we all know, senators have a historically more difficult time running for president than governors predominantly because of senate voting records. While Barak Obama seems to have sidestepped this problem by running early in his career before he has a chance to build up a substantial record, McCain has opted for the other option.

Just don’t vote.
