Yes, I Called Her A Bitch

First I want to thank Real Clear Politics, who has been kind to us lately, and especially for showing the spotlight here on Comments From Left Field in their featured post section of their blog roundup.

Although, I do kinda wish that it was any other post, and not one where I call someone a bitch in the title. Still, I stand by my assertion that Ann Coulter is a Bitch, and Think Progress points out one reason why.

Last night on Fox’s Hannity and Colmes, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter responded to Obama’s comments by implicating him as a terrorist. Coulter remarked, “Anyone named B. Hussein Obama should not use the words ‘hijack’ and ‘religion’ in the same sentence.” Host Sean Hannity added that Obama’s remarks were part of a “black separatist agenda.”

And if you think maybe this stuff was taken out of context, you both don’t know Ann, and you didn’t read the transcript a little lower down in the post.

Coulter makes a HUGE point about Barak’s middle name, as though he didn’t already get enough ribbing over his unugual moniker growing up. No wonder people who knew him in his youth called him “Barry.”

But I think it’s even more interesting the nature of her argument. Okay, it’s silly enough that she is implying that Obama is a terrorist because his middle name is HUSSEIN, but really stop and think about that one.

Saddam HUSSEIN, wasn’t an al Qaeda terrorist. He didn’t HIJACK commercial aircraft and ram them into highly populated buildings in America. And yet she is implying that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is… a terrorist. SHE’S CONFLAGRATING!!!

Holy crap. The man not only wasn’t one of the terrorists who attacked us, but he’s now been overthrown, caught, put on trial, and executed, and ANN COULTER IS STILL IMPLYING HE WAS ONE OF THE ONES THAT HIT US AND TYING BARACK OBAMA IN AT THE SAME TIME!!!

So for those of you who may not like the wording of the title, can you begin to see why I used the term, “Bitch”?

If not, let me point out another little tidbit. Obviously a little taken aback at how unhappy people were that Ann called John Edwards a “faggot”, Coulter rued on abc, “if I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

Now, I know I throw the loose language around a bit, and I’m often prone to insulting people. I try not to use the really really bad too often accept for people who really deserve it, and yes, I do not worry in the slightest, Ann Coulter is very much deserving.
