Larry Craig’s Defense: I Didn’t Know What “Guilty” Meant

As you’ve all surely heard, Senator Larry Craig (R Idaho) was busted peeking into a men’s room stall and then sequestering himself into the neighboring stall to play a game of one-way footsie with the peekee.

The funny and bizarre shit just never ends with these repressed righty pervs, does it?

But wait, before you could even get back up off the floor after hearing the hillarious police report, the Craig team jumped in with their initial spin: it was all just a “he said/he said misunderstanding.”

Seeing how bad that played, the Craigies couldn’t resist going for a trifecta of gut busters.  They weighed in once more with – and you knew it was coming – another classic righty defense.  Here’s Team Craig’s latest statement:

“At the time of the incident, I complained to the police that they were misconstruing my actions. I was not involved in any inappropriate conduct. I should have had the advice of counsel in resolving this matter. In hindsight, I should not have pled guilty. I was trying to handle this matter myself quickly and expeditiously.”

Hillarious! Craig really expects us to believe he didn’t know what the word “guilty” meant when it unexpectedly sprang from his mouth.  I guess from his twisted perspective, it’s a matter of it still being better to admit being a dumbshit than gay.

Wow, what an ass. I haven’t seen such backtracking since, well, I can’t even think of an example. Maybe the Colordao minister who was caught with meth and a male hooker? The GOP skewered Clinton over the “depends on what the meaning of “is” is” deal… this is just as bad if not worse. And you just know all of these intolerant, smug, dirty old men tell each other lewd jokes about George Michael and his bathroom track record… now its happened to one of their brightest starts and bastions for the family. Couldn’t happen to a nice guy.
