This pretty much broke me down; it’s a good thing my office is relatively quiet as I wouldn’t much relish having to explain the tears to those walking in.
Oh, I know. I cried – and then kept backing it up to watch the little one recognize his dad and do that little cartoon thing with his feet before he ran to him.
Yeah, I did it three times before I had to force myself to stop. It was terrible. I’m just really glad that I never had to deal with that. We were lucky enough to hold off on kids until my time sea time was at an end.
