What Was That About Being Inevitable?

As a kind of update to this post I wrote earlier, a Zoby poll released today delivers yet another crippling blow to the aura of inevitability surrounding the Clinton campaign.

With a massive sampling pool of well over nine thousand people, we learn that while Barack Obama and John Edwards do well against Republicans in General Election match ups, the presumptive Democratic front runner would actually lose to FIVE Republicans in hypothetical pairings.

Clinton struggling against Giuliani or Romney is one thing.  Even McCain or Thompson would be understandable.  But I think what seals the deal is that Hillary Clinton would also lose to Governor Mike Huckabee if she were to face him in the General Election.

I guess when faced with a choice between one Republican and another, voters will go with the one with an (R) behind their name.
