Friday Blogroll Call

It’s Friday, and I’m going to kick this morning off with our Friday Blogroll Call.  Basically, I’m turning every Friday into Blogroll Amnesty Day here at CFLF.

So here’s the deal, we’re going to feature some work of some other bloggers in a second, but if you want to hop on the CFLF blogroll off to the left, all you have to do is put us on your blogroll, and leave a comment below and I’ll hook you up.

Today I’m sampling some of the newer additions to the blogroll, some pick ups we got during the official Blogroll Amnesty Day, and from last weeks blogroll call.  We got some meta stuff, some historical stuff, and some good old fashion fuming going on, so let’s take a look.

-HyerStandard:  In this post we touch upon a subject that kind of has been tossing around in my head a while and I hope to expand upon in future posts, one of them hopefully today.  In general, it’s a simple question; what’s wrong with being inspirational?  And does Obama represent a new beginning for liberals?

-Raw Dawg Buffalo:  Seriously, it’s hard not to dig this guy’s mind, and I’ll be honest with ya, this is where I go when I need a break from all the poll numbers and endorsements and delegate math that takes up most of my time.  In this post, RDB takes a historical journey into the dreaded Jim Crow laws, and where they really came from.

-The Political Cat:  When John McCain voted for torture, that was the breaking point for me.  I disagreed with him on many things, but I’ve always respected the man for his service.  Still, after using his time as a POW to fight against the use of torture, and then turn around and vote in favor of it… I really have a hard time seeing the man as anything other than a hypocrite now.  TPC, though, goes the whole theme one better and gives us John McCain’s hypocritical greatest hits.

-Publius Endures:  Mark’s actually been on the roll for a while, but in comparison to a bulk of our blogroll, he’s still a newbie.  That doesn’t mean he’s not good though, and I continue to predict that he’s going to do well in the blogosphere as a result of his measured and well reasoned arguments, easy tone, and unique opinions.  In this post, he gives the three candidates who still have a plausible shot at the White House a report card.  Who makes the grade, and who doesn’t?

Alright, that about wraps it up for this week.  As for the blogroll itself, look, it’s way shorter than I would like it to be so please don’t hesitate to ask for a little love.  You’ll get it, trust me.

  3. hehe… You both deserve it. There are very few blogs that I read regularly, and of those, they are mostly inside baseball blogs. Hm. Who knew the libertarians would make some of the better reading out there?
