Friday Blogroll Call: Michelle, TMers, And Paying At The Pump

It’s Friday, and you know how we do here on Fridays.  It’s time to share the spotlight and open up our blogroll.

First things first, as with every Friday if you want to find your blog on our blogroll off to the left, all you got to do is let me know in the comments below, and make sure we get on your blogroll.  That’s all it takes, and I should get you on our roll before the weekend is out.

So go on, you know you want to.  I want a bigger blogroll, and you do to.

Now, as we turn the spotlight to some of our friends on the blog roll, I want to make mention that I’m working on highlighting some of the new additions to our blogroll, and today the first blog we’re going to look at is easily the newest.

Mainly because I just added it.

After realizing I was at the receiving end of some linky generosity, I realized we were committing a gross error in sitting on Liberty Street’s blogroll though they weren’t on ours.  I just fixed that.  And as for what to read there, go on and check out this post which does a real good job at addressing a lot of the criticism Michelle Obama suffered at the hands of her “proud” comment.

Next up comes Where’s the Outrage?  A solid blog that has a strong video clip emphasis.  Ran by Errington Thompson, a trauma doc, Where’s the Outrage has a plethora of great clips to watch including the Countdown recap of the debate last night.  Also, Errington has periodic contests with real prizes (the latest of which yours truly won… I’ve tried so hard not to brag up until now).  The latest post over there takes a much deserved jab at just how much we’re paying at the pump and drops some quick and realistic courses of action that we should be taking, but aren’t.

Finally, we move on to The TM Experience which is a blog that has grown very close to my heart in a very short period of time.  Anyone who’s been reading me regularly lately has probably picked up on the fact that I think Taylor Marsh has gone off the deep end, and truth be told, her supporters are worse.  In fact, I’m often amazed at how Obama supporters are characterized as cultish after spending a few minutes reading the things that TM’s readers write in comments.

That’s what the TM Experience is all about.  This blog is, no kidding, devoted solely to the comments that are left at Taylor Marsh’s blog, and while it may sound like a silly idea, compared to a great deal of blogs out there today, it’s a unique concept, incredibly entertaining, and really gets to the point.  Unfortunately, I’m putting this post up too early to get the post debate goods, but Bostondreams is at least gracious enough to provide a preview.  Read the preview, see what I’m talking about, and then check back frequently for the real deal post.  If he takes a long time getting it up, start hounding him!

That’s it for this week.  Remember, if you want to find yourself on the CFLF blogroll, all ya gotta do is leave a comment with your URL and hook us up!  Have a great weekend and check back later on today for more news.
