Yeah, that’s kinda how I saw it. Not really really racist, not like, “Ima killyu darkie,” kinda racist, but it was an eensy bit racist with a whole lotta “Gee I really have no clue what the fuck I’m talking about” thrown in that really does sound kinda racist.

I think, really, the biggest thing in here that could be considered racist was the implication that Obama MUST listen to rap, because, you know, he’s black. Which, if memory serves, Obama’s not a big rap fan.

I think it’s a huuuuuge stretch for him to compare Hillary Clinton to Eminem.

I can see where he’s going with it, and I don’t think he’s being intentionally racist, just trying to make a point. It’s a flawed and fairly stupid point, but I don’t believe he’s acting on a deep-seated racism here, but rather trying to make a racial analysis without really comprehending what he’s talking about.

Call it “racism by omission,” then – an omission of a real understanding of the situation.
