Netanyahu Says 9/11 Attacks Benefited Israel

My jaw dropped when I read what Netanyahu said to an Israeli audience:

The Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.

“We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq,” Ma’ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events “swung American public opinion in our favor.”

Can you believe he said that? Can you imagine what the reaction would be if Jimmy Carter said that the 9/11 attacks were good for Israel because they made Americans more favorably inclined toward Israel?

3,000 dead Americans = Israel gets more U.S aid to buy more planes & tanks.

We need a lot more dialog. Mr. Carter is correct in trying to talk.

And on March 19th of this year…

“Earlier in the day Mr. McCain met with Tzipi Livni, the foreign minister, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the head of the Likud Party, who praised Mr. McCain for recognizing the threat posed by Iran.”

If it’s OK to go after Obama for Wright, then I say it’s open season on McCain and his support from Netanyahu.

Bibi said that the day 9-11 happened. He said it was “very good for Israel.”

I don’t people don’t want to examine the evidence about 9-11 but you really need to back and do it…PARTICULARLY after tonight when Clinton was talking about defending Israel if they were attacked.

Has Chelsea enlisted to fight the next war?

I don’t trust Israel not to provoke an attack that will get us involved in another
PNAC inspired “atastrophic and catalyzing event — like a new Pearl Harbor”

One year later, a Zim ship is impounded while attempting to ship Israeli military equipment to Iran; it is speculated that this is done with the knowledge of Israel.
