		<description>I am planning on contributing approximately $2k to McCain once the Campaign heats up.  Most libs are going to have contribution fatigue once the primary season is done.  All those 10's of millions squandered on around-the clock advertisements to fight Hillary.  :)

		<description>I wonder if there are three things at play here, in McCain's apparent difficulties raising money:

First, the whole public financing issue.  He hasn't resolved the issue regarding funding for the primary, so that may be depressing donations.

Second, his heart just doesn't seem to be in any of this -- fundraising, campaigning, etc.  I just don't see any clear plan of approach in what he's doing.  He starts in on something, but then doesn't see it through.  I sometimes wonder if anyone is excited about his candidacy, in part because he doesn't seem to be excited about it.

Third, there's nothing for him to fundraise about yet.  If his entire candidacy is going to be about being the anti-Democrat, then the fact that no clear frontrunner has been acknowledged yet on the Democratic side doesn't give him anything to rev up the donors about.

Just a few wacky thoughts. . .</description>
