Comic Relief

I don’t know about you, but I need a break from the media’s and blogosphere’s relentless coverage of the pressing issues of our day.

So here is some lighter fare. Think of it as beach reading for serious political bloggers. We all need to kick back sometimes and focus on the totally frivolous and trivial.

You’ll come back refreshed, energized, and in a better frame of mind to tackle the issues of war and peace, civil liberties, torture, poverty, famine, disease, hunger, social isolation, inadequate services for veterans, economic survival, unemployment and underemployment, crumbling infrastructure, disaster preparedness, climate change, and growing income inequality, if you “change the subject” now and then.

Just remember that right-wingers are dishonest by definition. So when one of them says he’s changing the subject from Jeremiah Wright to a real issue, like “education reform,” don’t believe him. He’s actually changing the subject from Jeremiah Wright to William Ayers.

Hat tip with a flourish to Memeorandum River for the above links.
