How absolutely awful for him, although perhaps he will take some comfort in knowing that his dad did see him graduate. It's terrible to lose a parent at such a young age. We saw him in April at Southern CT State University's Distinguished Speakers series. He was funny and just a great storyteller. This is so sad. I’m in shock.
