I understand Mr. Nader’s argument but, why in the hell would a Presidential candidate be running around the poor black ghetto??? Because he is Black and that is where all the Black people live??? Because he needs to concern himself with all the poor Black people? We all know that the Blacks who will vote for him are impoverished and he is ignoring them??
I think if you want to eliminate ghettos in your city you need start with city counsil then work on your mayor then look to your Govenor.
Preditory(pay-day) loans, rent-to-own stores and lead paint are taken care of by local goverment via funds from the federal gov….perhaps more people need to hold their local gov. accountable!!
In closing I am more concerned with a war in another country, gas prices, supreme court nominees, abortion rights,this poor economy, and the world view of the U.S……and least of all am I worried about being Black and living in the ghetto(NOT)

When Obama threw Rev. Wright under the bus, was it because what he was saying wasn’t true or was it because he was offending potential white supporters by (yes!) “talking black?” Now that Obama is pro-gun, pro-death penalty, pro-nuke, pro-ethanol, is it because he is looking out for
minorities or pandering to potential white supporters?Be careful. If you speak about it, you could be treated like Ralph Nader.

….Because Nader is qualified to speak about what a “black American politician aspiring to the presidency should be.” That’s not condescending at all, no sir. Oh wait- yeah, it is.
