That’s the immediate question I think he faces now that he suggest suspending his campaign and delaying the upcoming debate originally scheduled for Friday. He’s running to be president of the United States of America; does he expect that the two wars we are fighting will just stop because the US is on the verge of an economic melt down? Does he think that our enemies will stop and say, “Oh, wait, oops, my bad, didn’t know you guys were having a domestic crisis. We’ll come back and try and bomb you when you’re ready for it.”
As for Obama, from Rahm Emmanuel, “we can handle both.”
Frankly, I don’t think this country is well served by someone who can’t handle but one task at a time. If McCain can’t have a debate and a crisis, what indication do we have that he could handle two crises at once?
