I’m Just Sick

Listening to Mitt Romney now, and I have to say this right here and now.  I’m sick, absolutely positively sick of this crap.  Mitt Romney, on a tirade that has very little to do with anything resembling reality has blamed liberalism for the ills of the past eight years.

Cognitive dissonance doesn’t even BEGIN to describe it.  A Republican president backed by a Republican congress, have driven this country into a ditch, and it’s the fault of liberals?  These people are supposed to tout personal responsibility, and yet they pass on the responsibility of their own failed ideology on to us.

It’s been said before and I’ll say it again; these people shouldn’t be in charge of a lemonade stand, forget the country.

How could the last 8 years possibly be Bush’s fault? Why, he’s not even AT the convention! 😆

Republicans are great entertainment, if you can get past your disgust.

Ahh, it’s good to know that Mitt “Battlefield Earth” Romney hasn’t changed his ways. While he ultimately lost to McCain, it’s worth mentioning that Romney epitomizes what has become of the Republican “base” due to the incoherence of the GOP coalition. Maybe it will make you better to re-read these old posts of mine about Mitt Romney and the “Romney Republicans” (aka, the GOP “base”). Just remember: no one – NO ONE – does cognitive dissonance like Mittens.

And while we’re at it, I can never resist the chance to link to my all-time most read post:

Arrrgghh! What happened to my comment? I’m guessing it got eaten up by the spam filter for having too many links. Anyways, I just wanted to reiterate that no one does cognitive dissonance like Mitt Romney and his group of automoton supporters (which amount to what passes for the GOP “base”) – NO ONE! For further discussion, just read my myriad posts on Romney from during the primaries.

  4. Yeah, you probably got eaten up by the spam filter, which jumped to like fifty posts in a couple of hours. I’ll try and dig through the weeds, but when it gets that deep, it becomes really hard.

Normally I would agree with you, but the whole thing just had me dizzy last night to the point where I was thinking, “these people better be happy that they aren’t being rebutted.” Thankfully there’s always a morning after when the blogosphere can jump in and do the job the MSM simply won’t.

By this I mean of course factchecking.
