And Sam Moore of “Sam and Dave” fame apparently asked Obama’s campaign earlier this year to stop using “Hold on, I’m Coming” at rallies, because they had not asked for his permission beforehand.

Blah, blah, blah.

This stupid ticky-tack superficial nonsense about irrelevant issues is “Politics for Dummies” instead of true political discourse It adds nothing to the discussion. It’s like two kids in the back seat complaining that their sibling is touching them.

If this is what’s important, we deserve what we get.

If you think the Republicans use these songs hoping the artists won’t mind, you’re naive. They know exactly what they’re doing. It’s actually kind of fun in a way– you get to use the song, and annoy a whiny celebrity at the same time.
