Next Week: N-Bombs!

That’s where I think this is going–I think McCain may just blow right by Macaca, and he or one of his surrogates is just going to drop an N-Bomb and there are going to be about fifteen reporters sitting around with cameras and microphones.

Frank Keating, one of the McCain campaign co-chairs, had the following to say about Senator Barack Obama:

Just he ought to admit, “you know, I’ve got to be honest with you. I was a guy of the street. I was way to the left. I used cocaine. I voted liberally, but I’m back at the center.”

(emphasis added)

Really?  Do I actually have to explain how this isn’t just race baiting, but blatant race baiting?  I’m going to have a little faith in your, the reader’s, intelligence and just assume you get it.

    Here’s my take: I will agree that it’s not blatant race-baiting for Frank Keating to tell Barack Obama that he should just admit he was “a guy of the street” and a drug user and that these supposed “facts” disqualify him from the presidency on the day that Keating asks for the same admission from white Hollywood executives and power brokers on Wall Street.
