My family has been spied on since July of 2001. We had threats now defined as “terrorist” in nature – all because a completely illegal, unethical, amoral and illegal Iran-Contra style dope and weapons operation was using a fake animal sanctuary as a front to launder money. The State of Minnesota, in conjunction with University of Minnesota researchers, and individuals in Mower County/Development Corporation of Austin wanted to use the funds to build a biotech research center and a whole lot more. If the US government had more courageous people like SA Tamm, we’d be a more healthy nation in every way. He’s a hero and I wish he had been able to effect a bigger change much sooner.

Thomas Tamm is the DEFINITION of a patriot. Contrary to the absurd “Country First” slogan of McCain and the Republicans this year, Tamm, indeed, put his “Country First”, putting his career and his freedom on the line. I wish I could contribute more, but I’m sending $25 and hope others will do so, as well. I’m e-mailing my left-wing friends in the hopes they, too, will see fit to make a small contribution. I wish Olbermann would put this fine man on his show for national exposure. It’s a scandal Mr. Tamm has to put up his own money to defend himself.

Tamm reported the infraction to the press which is one of the founding ways in which we as citizens can report misdeads fo political superiors.

As far as I am concerned, Mr. Tamm is an American Patriot of the highest order. Whistle blowers need a lot more protection.
