“A Good Debate”

It’s no secret that I’ve had my differences with Secretary Clinton over the course of the past two years and prior, but watching this address to her staff on her first day as Secretary of State gives me the feeling that she is going to be a remarkable top diplomat for this country. At the core of her message that I find most important is the concept of welcoming debate, welcoming competing ideas, and going into this job not pushing her own agenda but instead showing a sincere interest in finding the best ideas possible whether they are hers or those of her talented team.
