So that's a little over $80M per state, right? I'll take it in PA, where my local school district is facing a $12M deficit and wants to make fairly severe curriculum cuts.

Does anyone know where refused stimulus money will go?

The pig barely graduated from college, her idiot husband is illiterate and her kids are high school drop outs. Like most Alaskans they are hillbillies and have no concept of the value of education. As a bonus the pig thinks everything in the bible is true, which makes it easy not to think.

It is indeed hilarious that the pig, along with Cheney and the drug addict Rush (is that a real name?) are the leaders of the excrement party.

Feh. Palin is pandering to the base in anticipation of her run in 2010. Otherwise, she can't scarf up the Federal pork fast enough. Watch the state quietly grab the money when the publicity dies down.

And the Power Tools, like all good wingnuts, have no interest in the education of other people's children. Certainly Alaskans count as other people's children.

They're not "teachers", they are government employees and union members and are therefore evil and children should not be allowed near them. They're made of Communism.

As a dominionist Palin has no intention of helping public schools, in fact quite the opposite, it is their intention to see the public school system completely collapse. It was the dominionists who originated the whole home schooling movement and as of right now there is an estimated 22 million children being home schooled across the United States, and of those it is estimated that 90% of those children are members of extreme evangelical churches.

When people in Alaska say that they have not seen any sign of her dominionist religious beliefs asserted into her politics, let this be just ONE example that cannot be overlooked.

Dominionists have as much respect for public education as they do social programs, the plight of the poor and indigent, all secular institutions in general. They believe the ends justifies the means and their propaganda about less government REALLY means - less SECULAR government.

If they were to succeed nationally, which is a very real threat, they would be the biggest financiers of government we have ever seen (sans Bush) but they would revamp the government to reflect biblical law as the law of the land.

She is exhausting...but don't take your eyes off her.
