Um. Cheney speaks with a forked tongue at all times, I agree. But the nasty part of a really superlative liar is that he weaves elements of truth into his lies.
Those 'reviews' really did happen : Obama's 'reviews' plow the same ground.
Until or unless you realize the ridiculousness of comparing strategies of warmongers and allocating one as 'virtuous' and one 'evil' when they are both pursuing policies of murder on a grand scale...no sane perspective is possible.
I've blogged Afghanistan until I'm almost sick of it. exMI at Blogspot ( Somebody Should Care, Maybe Not You... ) pointed out the vast differences between the way Afghanistan is described by 'theorists' pushing pet views and what somebody sees when they are actually there...which he says he was, and his perspectives tie in with other vets...years ago.
It's fiction. Check out Brad Blog's reports on Sibel Edmonds, Al Qaeda is nothing like its portrayal ....the locals don't even have something called 'the Taleban' ! Not really.
It's as bad as conducting Indian policy to the tribes based on prejudice and graft was in the Wild West : and for many of the same reasons. It's 'cover' : smoke and mirrors.

So Cheney is wicked for opposing Obama?? Many people think Gitmo should remain open, its a perfect place to hold these guys. Putting terrorists through our Court system is a mistake. In Poland we've abandoned a good ally in favor of pusing the "reset" button with Russia. Unfortunately they haven't reset anything, they're laughing at us ... So far this Iran engagement has been futile. I hope it works out, but can't think of any recent example where diplomacy or sanctions worked in these situations ....

Well looks like Obama's numbers continue to fall, he will be a 1 term President. These polls reflect how people are starting to catch wind of this fraud Administration:

the ones who are naive and evil are you Kathy, and Obama for shielding his Mao worshiping true beliefs and intentions here ... be honest for once ...

Can you really tie in Bush Administration policies to what happened on 9/11 Kathy?? Clinton had been warned about Bin Laden for years and did nothing. Bush had barely been in office a few months when 9/11 took place. We all know that Cheney was talking about policies put in place because of 9/11 ... things you oppose like simple tapping of overseas phone calls.

I think Bush/Cheney neglected Afghainstan as well, after the intial campaign across that barren landscape. But I wonder if CFLF supported ANY action in the first place !! I doubt it, no, the blame America first crowd fills the ranks of CFLF.
