Curiosity Killed the Bookworm’s 2012 Sci-Fi Challenge

Curiosity Killed the Bookworm’s 2012 Sci-Fi Challenge

I am a sucker for Sci-Fi. Having just completed the fourth book in the In Her Name series by Michael R. Hicks in just under two months and with two weeks of holiday vacation beginning on Monday I figure to be done with the sixth book just in time to seek out some new Science Fiction to consume. So as you can imagine, when I came across Ellie Warren’s 2012 Sci-Fi Challenge I couldn’t pass it up.

The rules are pretty simple, you need to complete one Sci-Fi novel a month in 2012. As Ellie so aptly put it:

Want to challenge yourself to read outside your comfort zone in 2012?
Like science fiction but tend to put off reading it?
Are you a total geek but never really take the time to read?

If you answered yes to any of the above, sign up for my 2012 reading challenge now! The idea is to read one sci-fi book each month however we all have different reading speeds so set yourself a number that you feel comfortable with.

At the time of this writing there are 31 participant, all listed in her original posting. So head to her site, sign up and get ready for a wonderous Sci-Fi 2012.
