A sincere mea culpa for the lack of content over the last several days. Was a holiday weekend in my neck of the tubes, so yrs truly decided to go all-in with some R&R time. Anyway, we are back and, baby, the Republicans are still fucking bat-shit. With the recent deluge of sonogram-rape legislation and so-called “personhood” bills being tabled across the US, it is all too apparent that the Grand Old Party is specifically and deliberately flinging teh crazyscat all over women’s rights.

SUFFOCATION POLICIES
The Job growth is fine but 11 million job seekers cannot find a job.
There is no growth in manufacturing. Misguided tax and spending policies as the Sequesters cuts are just beginning. The good news is in Housing and measures to control inflation by the Fed and the stock market increase.
Many Republicans believe reducing government spending is the key to economic recovery.
The CBO projects Sequester will cost 700,000 jobs. The Republicans have lost the popular vote in five of last six presidential elections. The GOP is represented in Congress by conservative whites meaning a minority constituency. The Koch 50 in the House have been a disaster with their cut government, cut taxes and a continuing effort to destroy anything presented by the President.
The House is a mess divided and out of control by their leadership.

I have read only that spending like 500Billion on infrastructure will
revive our dormant economy. Debt is important. Fed has kept interest rates low
but higher rates will come. It is called good news that the 2014 Budget projects the first below 1000B Deficit since 2008. 700B is not good news. Zero billion is good news. We can balance our budget. Congress can do it. A higher “effective” tax on wealth estates and income.
Public finance campaigns over six months. Ban any gift with a financial value as gift to employees of the Federal government . Overturn Corporation as a person. Expire Bush Tax Cuts.
Eliminate Obama Payroll Tax Cut. Means Test Social Security and Medicare.
It was disgusting to hear employees of large hotel on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach
tell me that wealthy winter residents get S ocial Security checks each month. It is disgusting to know some of my dearest friends get Social Security and Medicare and are multi-millionaires.

Our National Income is 14,000 Billion. In 2014, the budget projects tax receipts at 3100B.
That is a 22% Effective Tax Rate. That is why we rank third as Least Taxed in OECD nations.
