An Interview And Some Notes
A couple weeks ago I mentioned doing an interview for Skewz.com. Skewz, in case you’ve never been, is actually a pretty neat site that not only aggregates headlines, but allows you to rate the bias so that when people come behind you, they know what they’re getting into.

We’re On The Map! (Updated X2)
My other blog focuses on, among other things, casual games and webtoys, so needless to say whenever someone comes up with a political webtoy I get a little thrill. This one doubly so because we’re actually on it.
George Carlin: R.I.P.
This one hits me pretty hard.
It was my dad who instilled in me a great love of comedians and their art. For as different as our tastes were, perhaps the one thing that my father and I shared unconditionally were stand up comics. For many years, that was our New Years Eve; watching HBO’s marathon of the great comics of the day; Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, and, at the very top of that list, was George Carlin.
Breakin’s a Memory
The curtain isn’t coming to a slow close, but it is time to pack up and go home–at least for the time being. In other words, not a goodbye, just a ’see ya later’, hopefully sometime not too long after June 3rd (or, worst case scenario, after August 28th). Until then, the mic is all yours–try not to blow the speakers on the PA.

I Will Not Crow
I say this now, before anyone mistakes the tone in past and future posts from me on the further subject of the Democratic primaries.
I will not crow. I will not gloat.
The Roadblock Between Science and Religion
Intelligent design. Creationism. Evolution. The Big Bang. Modern day guises for an intellectual war that could have, for all we know, been waged from the moment the creature we would recognize as man has walked the earth (whenever that may have been).

Twitter.
Based on the chatter on the ‘interwebs’ it is highly likely that you have never heard of it. This time last week I could have counted myself among that group but, like Facebook, YouTube, and del.icio.us before it, I have taken a leap into the unknown and dragged my trusty blog along with me.
What are they thinking?
In the heat of the battle for the Democratic nomination, and the tuning up for the general election fight to come, it’s easy to overlook the essential question of why anyone in their right mind would even want to be President. What would motivate someone to seek the office?
